Life Groups

Life Group Ministry

The goal of New Beginnings Fellowship Life Groups is to move
congregants “from rows to circles,” creating intentional spaces where
individuals can strengthen Christian formation, encourage mutual
accountability, and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Three categories of life groups are:
Informational groups facilitate Bible and book studies focused on
scriptural knowledge and curriculum
Affinity groups connect members with similar interests to support one
another in the journey toward spiritual perfection.
Transformational groups foster deep spiritual growth through
accountability and mutual care.
Informational Groups
Women’s Bible Study
Our Thursday night group meets weekly in members’ homes. The study is
Bible-based and adheres to the Wesleyan focus in that we believe in one God
who is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Our Bible is God’s
Holy Word and is complete for us: His Son, Jesus Christ, is our Savior and the
only to the Father and the Holy Spirit is the helper sent by God to all believers in
His Son as Savior.
The women in this group live by a desire for growth in personal faith, belief in
“Scriptural Holiness,” and the grace of God available to all people. The close
fellowship of women is an eclectic group who have been brought together
through faith, the need to grow in Christ, the desire to share Jesus with others,
and be supportive in each other’s lives. We would love to have you join us!
Isaiah
The curriculum utilized for this study is written by well-known Bible scholar John
Oswalt. This study meets 10:00 Tuesday mornings at Faith Temple. It is designed
to take you deeper into the Old Testament book of Isaiah by incorporating daily
readings, on your own, and weekly group discussions where we share learning,
gain insight, and offer encouragement. Isaiah constantly points us toward God’s
beautiful plan of redemption and the total renewal of creation. By locating

ourselves within God’s grand story, you will discover compelling, rock-solid
reasons to live confidently, securely, and full of hope, no matter how chaotic the
modern world feels.

Wesleyan Alpha Class Meeting
In 1738, John Wesley designed the class meeting to foster spiritual growth
through honest accountability. The New Beginnings Fellowship Wesleyan Alpha
Class is a small group that meets weekly after the Sunday evening church
service. Members offer encouragement, prayer, accountability, and openness to
the Holy Spirit as we “bear one another’s burdens,” striving to develop a robust,
transformational relationship with God on our path toward holiness and Christian
perfection.
